Kristie Tavormina opened Movement Arts Collective in August, 2020. Her passion for the art of movement has inspired this journey and she hopes to pass that love onto everyone involved in this space. Kristie’s long history as a competitive dancer fostered a comprehensive background in technique, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet and tap. She has not only been ranked as a dancer herself but as a choreographer; bringing home 18 regional choreography awards along with three national choreography titles. Kristie has her Master’s Degree from Pratt Institute in Dance/Movement Therapy and seeks to use her knowledge and education as a DMT to foster a safe, fun, creative and authentic studio environment.
